Stay classified
Many people don’t bother to do couponing because they think that couponing takes pretty much time and effort. The first and important key of couponing is that stay organized. Once you are, it is really is that simple and easy.
Staying up to date and in touch with couponing websites such as caringeveryday.co.uk and supersavvyme.co.uk are one of the best couponing websites to stay in touch with.
Other than that on my website I keep a complete and up to date list of coupons If you don’t want to the leg work. You can also get some coupons from newspapers, magazines and even in monthly superstore magazines at stores.
Write to Makers
Complementing manufactures is one of the best way to get coupons which mostly people are missing. I frequently do it and have a great success. Write a genuine compliment to companies about their products or even write a mini review about their products they would love it as its free market research and often will send coupons as a goodwill gestures.
Sometimes you will get simple thankyou emails with no coupons so don’t lose hope and keep trying and you will get them ultimately. I have a full guide about how to on my blog.
Double them up
Most of the people think that like in USA you cant double up the coupons but actually you can! Until the terms and conditions of your coupons are correct.
For example I had a Tesco club card coupon for £1 off coca cola and then I had another £1 from the manufacturers and a further £1 coupon from magazines that means I would have a total of £3 to get off coca cola. So always keep looking for coupons because you never know when one comes up. I have folder which categorizes all my coupons easily so I know exactly what I am buying, and which coupon to use it and which one to save that save so much struggle at the checkout.
Get Loyalty Cards
Usually I get so many Tesco club card coupons on weekly from them including the price promise one’s which are always helpful. Other than Tesco club cards, Nectar cards are also great.
There are many stores which do loyalty cards and send out coupons quarterly, as well as points to spend in stores. Some of them are boots and Superdrug store.
Comprehend Your Coupon T&C’s
Sometimes wording can be really confusing and most of the times, cashiers aren’t well educated on the T&C’s. Majority say one per purchase but that DOES NOT mean one per customer or one per transaction so if you buy two Colgate toothpaste’s along with two coupons then it sounds okay. If it says one per transaction, person or household then you can only use once regardless of the quantity.
For example if you have a coupon of £10 and product cost is £6, then you have what I call overage means you have £4 more to spend on shop.
So guys this was the list of five best ways of couponing. We would love to hear from your so simply drop a comment below and share your experiences with us and also let us know which one of the above mentioned ways you have tried out.
Good luck and have a nice day!
